English Teacher

An outstanding Ofsted rated secondary school in Hillingdon are currently looking for an English Teacher.

The school are looking for someone who can start in January 2025 and commit until July 2025 with the possibility of continuing in the next academic year or transferring permanently.

This position is full time, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm.

Salary will match inner London MPS/UPS.

English Teacher is expected to:

  • be able to deliver highly focused lesson design with sharp learning objectives
  • have excellent ICT skills
  • help students develop confident writing skills for literature and work on their critical thinking skills
  • be able to work with students to build on and extend the foundation learning levels
  • enhance students' reading, speaking and debating skills
  • provide regular feedback to students on both written as well as spoken English and assess public speaking
