We are seeking a dynamic and experienced English teacher to join our school in Wandsworth. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5, fostering a deep appreciation and understanding of English literature and language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in English to students from KS3 to KS5.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure academic success.
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and enthusiasm for the subject.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching English at KS3 to KS5 levels.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a collaborative approach to teaching.
