We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Teacher to join our secondary school in Greenwich this February 2025. This is a temporary role covering ongoing sick leave, requiring an immediate start.

The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching English across Key Stages 3 to 5. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum, marking work, and supporting students in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons for KS3–KS5 students.
  • Assess and provide feedback on students’ progress.
  • Maintain an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to uphold the school's high academic standards.
Candidate Requirements:
  • QTS and relevant teaching experience in secondary education.
  • Strong subject knowledge across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Ability to engage and challenge students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
