Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of English? We are looking for a dynamic Teacher of English (Maternity Cover) to join our mixed multicultural secondary school in Newham. This is an incredible opportunity to inspire and educate students in a supportive and stimulating environment.
Teacher of English Responsibilities:
- Teach English across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Develop and deliver engaging and challenging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and share best practices.
- Support extracurricular activities related to English.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.
Teacher of English Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching English at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality lessons.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A passion for education and a commitment to student achievement.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
Candidates must have QTS – without QTS, they will not be considered.
