A popular, over-subscribed Secondary School in Southwark are looking for a qualified English Teacher to join their school on a full-time basis from January to teach across KS3

The Role

This English Teacher post will require teaching KS3 English lessons, with some marking but no planning involved. The successful candidates may also be asked to cover lessons, in other subject areas, if the need arises.

The school are looking for an English teacher with the following:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
  • Previous experience teaching English within a secondary school
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to people at all levels
  • A proactive and engaging teaching approach
  • Good classroom management
