English Teacher

Veritas Education are looking for an experienced English Teacher for a short term contract in a supportive secondary school in Haringey. This role will also involve teaching Media Studies, and the succesful applicant should have experience teaching both subjects at secondary level. As an English Teacher, you will be teaching at KS3 and KS4 level, and supporting students with their GCSEs.

The school is an OFSTED 'Good' secondary school based in Haringey, with good transport links. Behaviour is typically very good, and students are respectful and polite. The school are welcoming and supportive, and are looking for an experienced teacher who can slot in well.

This position is a full time short term role until the end of the academic year. Please only apply if you are able to start this position after Easter and can commit for the full summer term.

What we're looking for:

? Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.? Experience teaching both English and Media Studies at KS3 and KS4.? A passionate and enthusiastic educator, committed to student progress and success.? Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire young minds.

• Deliver high-quality English and Media Studies lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Inspire a love of literature, language, and media through engaging and innovative teaching.
• Work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of learning and achievement.
• Support students in preparing for GCSE English and Media Studies exams.
