We are working with an alternative provisions school in Waltham Forest who are looking for dedicated and knowledgeable English Tutor to join their team on a permanent full-time basis as soon as possible. 

The roleAs an English specialist you will use your experience to help students to develop their literacy levels and support students through the KS3 and KS4 Curriculum. You will plan and deliver exciting lessons supporting learner progression, that relate to their needs and interests.

The ideal candidate 

Essential Qualifications:

? Maths and English GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent (Level 2)? Degree/relevant qualification in the subject area?L5 teaching qualification preferred – relevant experience will be advantageousEssential Qualities / Skills:

?  Extremely organised and motivated and able to manage your own workload effectively and flexibly? Proven outstanding teaching and communication skills and understanding of Ofsted framework with ability to make the subject matter and time in classroom interesting and engaging ? Solution-focused and able to respond to data trends? Assertive and confident in learning environment management? Ambitious and committed to meeting targets, setting standards of behaviour and work? Empathy towards challenges faced by a demographic of young adults with high free school meals and poverty rate? Excellent communication skills
