Responsibilities of the French Teacher / Head of French:

  • Deliver high-quality French lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Lead and manage the French department, driving curriculum development and excellence.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their best.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
  • Collaborate with staff to enhance language teaching practices and promote cross-curricular links.
  • Organise extracurricular activities to enrich students' linguistic and cultural experiences.

Requirements of the French Teacher / Head of French:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in French.
  • Proven experience teaching French across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

  • Passion for language teaching and the ability to inspire both students and staff.
