GSL Education London Branch is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Geography/Humanities Teacher to join a vibrant co-educational comprehensive secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a passionate Geography/Humanities Teacher who can inspire students and bring the subject to life in a supportive learning environment.

Geography/Humanities Responsibilities

  • Teach Geography at KS3 and KS4 levels, with a passion for engaging students in learning about the world around them.
  • Deliver high-quality Humanities lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a range of learning needs and abilities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued and motivated.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum design and implement effective teaching strategies.

Geography/Humanities Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience as a Geography/Humanities Teacher in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Geography, with the ability to make lessons engaging and accessible.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and a genuine desire to inspire young minds.
