Position: Geography Teacher

A fast paced Tower Hamlets based secondary school are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join the vibrant secondary school in Hackney on a long-term basis. This position is available immediately and will continue until a permanent appointment is made, offering a fantastic opportunity for a Geography specialist to make an impact within the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in Geography for Key Stages 3 and 4 students.

Inspire students with a passion for Geography and promote critical thinking and global awareness.

Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback to support their academic growth.

Collaborate with the Humanities department to maintain a high standard of teaching and learning.

Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have a Degree or PGCE in Geography. (A Humanities degree or PGCE will not be considered).

Possess excellent subject knowledge and be passionate about Geography.

Demonstrate effective classroom management and the ability to adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.

Have experience teaching Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4.

Be committed to providing the best educational experience for every student.
