Geography Teacher

We are working with an outstanding secondary school based in Ealing who are currently looking for a Geography Teacher.

School are looking for someone to start from January 2025 on a long term contract until July 2025 or a permanent contract.

This position is full time, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm.

Salary will match inner London MPS/UPS.

The Humanities Faculty is an interdisciplinary, vibrant, and innovative and Geography explores how the world is now and can be in the future.

We are looking for a Geography teacher who will be:

- methodical in their approach to Geography

- able to use mathematical, statistical and graphical data sources along with qualitative data

- understand the uses and implications of Geography

- encourage students to research secondary evidence including digital sources as well as enhance their problem solving skills

Qualifications and Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A relevant degree
  • Proven experience teaching Geography
  • Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
