Geography Teacher - Second in charge
A well respected and outstanding school based in Ealing are looking for a Geography teacher to help the Head of Humanities run the department.
School are looking for someone to start after Easter on a permanent contract.
This position is full time only. Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Salary will match inner London MPS/UPS plus TLR2.
School has available parking spaces.
Geography Teacher - Second in charge - Ealing
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Second Teacher in Charge of Geography to join our team and support the leadership of the Geography department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert instruction in Geography, guiding students through a variety of key concepts, geographical skills, and real-world applications, ensuring an engaging and comprehensive learning experience.
- Support students' academic development by fostering critical thinking, analytical abilities, and an understanding of global issues through diverse geographical exercises and activities.
- Promote lifelong learning by inspiring students to appreciate the importance of Geography in the world, encouraging curiosity, and developing their ability to think critically about the environment and society.
- Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that motivates students to achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.
- Assist in the leadership of the Geography department, contributing to curriculum development and helping to shape a cohesive and collaborative teaching team.
- Embody the ethos of the school, supporting a dynamic and inclusive learning community where students feel valued, empowered, and motivated to succeed.

Qualifications and Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A relevant degree
- Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Approachable and encouraging
