An 'Outstanding' Secondary School in Merton is searching for a Geography Teacher + TLR join their team on a permanent basis in September. Geography as a subject has experienced exceptional growth in the school across the past three years, with more and more students choosing the subject at KS4 & KS5.

Due to growth, the Head of Humanities is searching for an additional Geography Teacher to join the department and can offer TLR's for a strong, suitable candidate. At present, the current options are available for September;

• Geography Teacher + TLR2B - 2iC Geography Dept.
• Geography Teacher + TLR2A - Enrichment Lead (Trips, Careers and Extracurricular)

You will be joining a popular department, in a school that unlike most has not struggled to find Geography specialists in their Humanities team. There is flexibility to teach another subject in tandem, i.e RE, History or Social Sciences, however we are searching for a Geography Teacher first and foremost, with the ability to offer a timetable of 100% Geography KS3-KS5.

• Inner London Payscale, MPS1-UPS3 + TLR 2A or TLR 2B
• £38,766 - £60,092 + £3800-£6200
• September 2025 start
• Full time, permanent contract

Candidate Specification - Geography Teacher + TLR

• Qualified Geography Teacher with UK QTS
• Experience teaching in an inner city school beneficial
• ECTs welcome to apply. TLR's only considered for ECT2 and beyond.
• Confident communicator with a real passion for Geography
