We are seeking Geography Teachers to join our vibrant schools located in the diverse communities of Greenwich, Lambeth, and Southwark. Day to day of the role:
- Plan and deliver inspiring Geography lessons to secondary or post-16 students, fostering an appreciation for the subject and its real-world applications.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and tailor teaching strategies to support individual learning objectives.
- Create an engaging classroom environment that accommodates diverse learning styles and encourages student participation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share creative teaching practices and contribute to the school’s extracurricular programmes.
- Engage in continuous professional development to maintain the highest educational standards and practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
- Experience in teaching Geography is preferred, but newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are also encouraged to apply.
- Proven ability to inspire and challenge students through effective teaching methods.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a supportive learning atmosphere.
