Geography Teacher (KS3 to KS5)

The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Geography Teacher to join the team on a maternity contract. The successful candidate will teach Geography to students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, fostering a love for the subject and helping students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons that meet the curriculum standards for KS3, KS4, and KS5.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.

Use innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.

Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
Qualifications and Experience:

A relevant degree and a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK.

Experience teaching Geography at KS3, KS4, and KS5.

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to create engaging and differentiated lesson plans.
