Job Title: Geography Teacher

Salary Range: £185 - £265 per day (Depending on experience)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in Hackney?
GSL Education are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join a vibrant school in Hackney, where you’ll empower students to explore the wonders of the world and beyond.
As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver engaging Geography lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, plan and prepare an inspiring curriculum, and assess student progress with constructive feedback.
Responsibilities of the Geography Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons tailored to Key Stage 3 and 4 curricula.
- Inspire students with creative teaching methods that bring the subject to life.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing valuable feedback to support their learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental practices.
- Contribute to the wider school community through participation in events and activities.
Requirements of the Geography Teacher:
- A Degree or PGCE in Geography (Humanities qualifications will not be considered).
- Proven experience teaching Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection (certification is a plus).
- Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
