GSL Education London Branch are seeking a Geography Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive co-educational comprehensive secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This is a fantastic chance to work in a supportive environment, delivering high-quality geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.

Geography Teacher Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative Geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their full potential.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with the school’s policies.
  • Work collaboratively with the Humanities department to develop and enhance the Geography curriculum.
  • Ensure all students are supported in their learning journey and address individual needs effectively.
  • Maintain excellent classroom behaviour management and promote a safe learning environment.
Geography Teacher Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification in Geography.
  • Proven experience as a Geography Teacher in a UK secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach Geography up to GCSE level.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring students in the field of Geography.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A valid enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
