We are seeking a passionate and fully qualified Geography Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive department in a well-established secondary school in North London. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality lessons, fostering a love of Geography, and helping students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative Geography lessons across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.
- Create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Differentiate instruction to cater to the needs of students with varying abilities.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the department to enhance teaching and learning.
- Support extracurricular activities related to Geography, including field trips.
- Uphold the school's values and ethos, contributing to the wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
- A degree in Geography or a closely related field.
- A passion for Geography and a commitment to inspiring students.
- Experience teaching at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.
- Strong classroom management skills and a creative approach to lesson planning.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
