Geography Teacher - Waltham Forest

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our client's vibrant and inclusive school community. This is a full-time maternity cover position starting in February 2025, teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.

Role Requirements:

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Geography lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum.
• Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to support their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the school's wider curriculum and extra-curricular offerings.
• Maintain a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students of varying abilities.
• A passion for Geography and the ability to convey this enthusiasm to students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the academic and personal development of students.
