Job Role: Geography Teacher
School: A comprehensive co-educational secondary school in Tower Hamlets
Rate: £185 - £265 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term until the end of the academic year

Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging and dynamic Geography lessons to students across KS3 to KS5.
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning and participation.
- Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and participate in department meetings.
- Contribute to the wider school community and its ethos through extracurricular activities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Geography at KS3, KS4, and preferably KS5.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students to succeed.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Valid DBS registered on the update service.
