GSL Education London Branch is looking for a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a dynamic coeducational comprehensive secondary school and sixth form in Tower Hamlets. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Geography Teacher to inspire and educate students in a supportive and well-resourced school environment.

Responsibilities of a Geography Teacher:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Geography Teacher lessons that inspire students.

  • Create lesson plans that align with the UK National Curriculum.

  • Assess, track, and monitor student progress, providing support where needed.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Geography department.

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.

  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring they achieve their full potential.

Requirements for a Geography Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Proven experience as a Geography Teacher in a secondary school setting.

  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching Geography.

  • Ability to engage students of all abilities and backgrounds.

  • Excellent classroom management skills.

  • Right to work in the UK.
