Role Overview:As a Specialist/Group Intervention Teacher, you will focus on delivering tailored support to KS2 students, with a particular emphasis on Maths. You'll work with small groups or one-to-one to provide targeted intervention, helping students who need additional support to excel. You will collaborate with the class teachers to monitor progress, adapt teaching strategies, and ensure that all students are empowered to reach their academic potential. Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths interventions and lessons to small groups or individual students in KS2, available on a part-time or full-time basis.
- Work closely with class teachers to identify and support students who need additional help, particularly in Maths.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment based on Jewish values, supporting students' academic and personal development.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to guide improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies, resources, and interventions focused on Maths.
- Support students' social and emotional development, building confidence and resilience.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on students' progress and development.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching or supporting Maths at KS2 level.
- A passion for Maths and a commitment to helping students succeed in this area.
- Experience in delivering small group interventions or one-to-one support, especially in Maths.
- The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to meet the needs of students and enhance the curriculum.
