The Role:

As the Head of Art, you will:

• Lead and manage the Art department, driving creativity and innovation in the classroom.
• Develop a dynamic and engaging curriculum for Key Stages 3 to 5 that inspires and challenges students of all abilities.
• Support and mentor a team of dedicated art teachers, sharing best practices and promoting professional development.
• Ensure high standards of teaching and learning, continuously improving student outcomes.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages students to express themselves artistically and reach their full potential.
• Organize exhibitions and events to showcase student artwork and promote the importance of the arts within the school and local community.

What We’re Looking For:

• A passionate and experienced Art Teacher with QTS.
• Proven success in delivering high-quality art lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team of teachers.
• Creative and forward-thinking, with the ability to develop an exciting, progressive curriculum.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all students.
• A desire to promote and celebrate the importance of art education within the school and wider community.
