History Teacher – Secondary School (Kensington & Chelsea)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join our high-achieving Humanities department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or a motivated ECT eager to make a real impact on students’ understanding of historical events and critical thinking.
The Role:
- Teach History across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially KS5
- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons covering periods from ancient history to modern-day
- Encourage critical analysis, discussion, and independent thinking on historical events and their global impact
- Plan, assess, and track student progress to ensure high achievement
- Contribute to the wider school community through history clubs, trips, and enrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching History at secondary school level
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum and exam board requirements
- Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to student progress
- A passion for history education and inspiring young historians
