We are excited to be working alongside a secondary school based in Havering that is seeking a passionate and dedicated History/Humanities Teacher to join their school immediately. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone who is ready to inspire and engage students in the fascinating study of history.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality history lessons tailored to the secondary school curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement and progress.
- Assess and monitor student achievement, providing constructive feedback to ensure improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning and school initiatives.
- Maintain excellent classroom management and uphold school policies.
Requirements:
- A degree in History or a related subject (teaching qualification preferred).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience teaching history to secondary school students.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must be available ASAP.
