A prestigious independent school located in the heart of Kensington, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Mandarin teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join their dedicated faculty. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and a proven ability to inspire and engage students from diverse backgrounds.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Mandarin lessons to students across Key Stages 1-5.
• Develop and implement engaging curricula that meet the needs of learners at various proficiency levels.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages academic excellence.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support as required.
• Organize and lead cultural activities, such as Mandarin language clubs, workshops, or events, to enrich the learning experience.
• Stay updated on best practices in language teaching and integrate innovative teaching methods into lessons.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote Mandarin as part of the broader modern languages program.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Mandarin in UK schools.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.

• Experience working in an independent school setting.
• Familiarity with GCSE, A-Level, or IB Mandarin curriculum requirements.
• Additional qualifications in education, such as a PGCE or equivalent.
• Experience in integrating technology into language teaching.
