They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their dynamic Maths department. Role Overview: As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5, depending on experience). You will inspire students to develop a love for Maths, helping them to build critical problem-solving and analytical skills that will serve them in their future academic and professional careers. You will work closely with the Head of Maths and other members of the department to deliver a rich and varied curriculum that challenges students of all abilities. The successful candidate will be proactive, creative, and able to adapt their teaching strategies to meet the needs of a diverse student body. Key Responsibilities: · Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable). · Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement. · Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, encouraging a growth mindset and a passion for learning. · Collaborate with colleagues within the Maths department to develop resources and teaching strategies that support student success. · Support students' personal and academic development through mentoring, extra-curricular activities, and interventions where needed. · Participate in whole-school activities, CPD, and contribute to the wider life of the school. What We Are Looking For: · A qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS (or equivalent). · Passion for teaching Maths and a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment strategies. · Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4, with an ability to stretch and challenge students of all abilities. · A commitment to student well-being and inclusive education. · Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills. · An enthusiastic team player with a creative approach to teaching and learning. · Experience teaching Key Stage 5 Maths (A-Level) would be advantageous, but not essential.
