An 'Outstanding' Secondary School in the heart of Lewisham is on the hunt for a Maths Teacher to join their fantastic Teaching Staff from September 2025. This is a Permanent, Full-Time role.
The Executive Head Teacher has commented that the school is all about the pupils and preparing them for the future, from skill sets to motivation. As a result, the Progress 8 Schools are well above average. This Secondary School is renowned across the Borough for the brilliant academics of pupils.
The Maths Department, in particular, is fantastic - there is an excellent team of Maths practitioners and one Maths ECT at this current time. One of the current Assistant Head Teachers used to be a Lead Practitioner of Maths in the Department - it is one of the most important aspects of the curriculum.
Maths is offered at a very high standard, including Further Maths at A-Level, and there are looking for an experienced Maths Teacher from September 2025 to make a positive difference. There are also opportunities for additional TLRs including: Key Stage Co-ordinator, Subject Lead and Pastoral Responsibilities.
