An East London secondary school are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join their dynamic and supportive team at a vibrant mixed secondary school in the heart of Hackney. The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher (QTS required) with a proven track record of delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality and engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Produce an enjoyment of Maths and create an engaging learning environment for all students.
Provide clear and constructive feedback to students, supporting them in reaching their full potential.
Work collaboratively with the Maths department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Contribute to the wider school community and engage with extracurricular activities where appropriate.
The Successful Candidate Will:
Have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a strong understanding of the curriculum for Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students.
Have experience teaching at GCSE and A-Level, with the ability to adapt your teaching style to suit the needs of diverse learners.
Be committed to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
Be enthusiastic, motivated, and able to create a positive, inclusive classroom culture.
