Maths Teacher - Harrow
Academics are working with a Secondary School based in the Pinner area of Harrow, North West London who have active requirements for a Maths Teacher to join them full time from January 2025, they are ideally looking for candidates full time but will consider part time (3 days minimum).
They are a comprehensive school who have been judged 'Outstanding' across the board, including their Sixth Form. They take pride in their commitment to supporting student's spiritual, social, moral and cultural development and are committed to nurturing and enabling young minds within their community.
This role would ideally suit a Maths Teacher based in London and within a commutable distance to the Harrow area, who is actively seeking a new challenge, or maybe flexibility within their teaching career.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a proven track record of success in helping students achieve their academic goals, and will have the expertise to make Maths enjoyable and easy to understand.
- Be able to use a variety of teaching methods to ensure that each student learns in the way that suits them best.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment within the classroom, to ensure students of all abilities have a tailored approach to their learning.
This role will require:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Math's Teacher, teaching to secondary school students in the UK.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the UK curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
