Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Maths Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for Mathematics and the ability to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, supporting the progress of all students, and contributing to the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Contribute to the development of the Maths department’s curriculum and resources.
- Participate in school activities, parents' evenings, and professional development opportunities.
- Promote the ethos and values of Gunnersbury Catholic School.
Person Specification:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (Key Stages 3, 4, and preferably 5).
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A commitment to upholding the Catholic ethos of the school.
