GSL Education London Branch are looking for a Maths Teacher to join a thriving co-educational comprehensive secondary school and sixth form in Tower Hamlets. Responsibilities of the Maths Teacher:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths Teacher lessons to secondary and sixth-form students.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing support and feedback.

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Develop lesson plans in line with the national curriculum.

  • Use a range of teaching strategies to support different learning styles.

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a productive learning environment.

  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to enhance student learning.

Requirements for the Maths Teacher:
  • Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience working as a Maths Teacher in a UK secondary school.

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

  • Must be able to start as soon as possible.
