History Teacher – West London – Starting ASAP We are collaborating with a highly esteemed secondary school in Ealing, West London to recruit a passionate and skilled History Teacher to join their dedicated humanities department starting as soon as possible. This is a maternity cover that will require the successful candidate on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week.
The role The successful History teacher will be confident and comfortable with teaching History at KS3-KS5. This position is ideal for a dynamic ECT or an experienced History Teacher who is deeply passionate about History and is dedicated to engaging students in History lessons to ignite their interest in the subject and improve academic performance.
The ideal History Teacher The school believes the quality of staff is crucial to pupils’ success and therefore the successful History Teacher must have the following:
- Degree in History or an appropriate related subject
- Ability to teach History across KS3/KS4
- A Level experience (essential)
- A genuine interest in History, and the ability to motivate and inspire interest in the subject area
