Part Time Maths Teacher - Waltham Forest - ASAP start
Part time 3 days a week - actual salary £18,420 - £27,016 depending on experience . Full time equivalent £30,000 - £45,000.
We are working with a creative college in Waltham Forest who are looking for dedicated and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join their team on a part time permanent basis as soon as possible.
The role
As their new Maths Teacher, you will use your experience to help students to develop their numeracy levels and support students through the KS3 and KS4 Curriculum. You will plan and deliver exciting lessons supporting learner progression, that relate to their needs and interests.This role offers a wonderful chance to be part of a supportive and welcoming teaching team, with strong backing from the Head of Department.
The ideal candidateQualifications
? Maths and English GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent (Level 2)? Degree/relevant qualification in the subject area? L5 teaching qualification preferred - relevant experience will be advantageous
Experience
— Able to plan, deliver and assess GCSE Maths (Edexcel), Functional Skills Maths L1 & L2, and Higher (Core Principles) Maths (NextGen).— Proven outstanding teaching and communication skills and understanding of Ofsted framework with ability to make the subject matter and time in classroom interesting and engaging— Ambitious and committed to meeting targets, setting standards of behaviour and work— Experience in teaching Functional Skills Maths E3-L2, GCSE Mathematics and Core Principles Mathematics (Level 3).
