We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 teacher to join our team on a part-time basis, working 2 days a week. The role is available until the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Year 6 students, with a focus on preparing them for the transition to secondary school
- Support pupils in their academic progress and personal development, ensuring their well-being and success
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure consistent delivery of the curriculum
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and create a positive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Year 6 and familiarity with SATs preparation
- Passionate about working with children and helping them achieve their full potential
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
