We are searching for an experienced PE Teacher with an established background in a secondary school setting. This teaching role will start full time ASAP and is an excellent opportunity for a devoted teacher of PE to begin a brand new and exciting teaching role.
The roleThis role would suit an experienced PE Teacher who is interested in a challenging and exciting role in Haringey. As someone who is passionate about teaching PE, you will use your skills and practical experience to hold inspirational practical and theory lessons to encourage participation and enthusiasm in the students. The PE department has exceptional teaching staff amongst them, and they take great pride in promoting physical education to pupils across the school. This role is a temporary full time contract covering staff absence initially, duration to be confirmed.
The ideal PE TeacherThe successful candidate must demonstrate the below:
- An ability to teach at both Key Stage 3 & 4
- A passion for teaching PE
- Enthusiasm commitment and flexibility
- The desire and ability to work on an individual and team basis
- An ability to promote effective teaching and learning, and ensure the safety of every pupil
