Responsibilities
- Teach engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 in line with the national curriculum.
- Foster a love for physical activity and sports among students in Lambeth, encouraging them to lead healthy, active lifestyles.
- Organize and participate in extracurricular sports clubs, school events, and inter-school competitions.
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback that supports their development in physical education.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the PE Teacher curriculum and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities, ensuring student welfare at all times.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification, with a specialization in physical education.
- A proven track record of delivering excellent PE lessons and inspiring students of all abilities.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Experience in extracurricular sports or coaching is highly desirable.
