The Role:
They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time PE Teacher to join their enthusiastic team. As a PE teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will create an engaging curriculum that not only covers traditional physical education but also incorporates a wide range of sporting activities, fitness programs, and health education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess PE lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles among students.
  • Manage and supervise students during practical lessons, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Encourage participation in extracurricular activities, sports teams, and school events.
  • Collaborate with other staff to provide a well-rounded and inclusive PE curriculum.
  • Support and monitor students' progress, providing feedback to help them improve and achieve their potential.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and achievements.
  • Participate in department meetings and contribute to the development of new teaching resources and initiatives.
  • Build positive relationships with students, encouraging their self-confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Work closely with parents and carers to support students' development and well-being.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to improve teaching skills and stay up-to-date with educational trends and physical education practices.

The Ideal Candidate:
