A highly-respected specialist School, based within North London, are looking for an experienced PE Teacher to join their School on a full time basis. 

The Role

This role will be working with young people 1:1 in the community and the home. The teacher will need to have acquired both QTS and ECT and this will be a full time role till the end of the summer term. Due to the needs of the targeted young people the teacher will need to be able to support with KS3 and KS4 Maths and English and be able to offer physical activities during the tuition. Ideally this will be a qualified PE teacher with the confidence to support young people with their numeracy and literacy.

The School 

The School consists of four Pupil Referral Units in Islington. they work with pupils from the age of 5 - 16 who have been placed at risk of permanent exclusion or have been excluded because of their behaviour from mainstream Schools. They also work with pupils who have been referred to them due to medical needs which prevent them from accessing mainstream education - either for a short period of time or longer.
