Academics are currently looking a Science Teacher for a permanent role we currently have available in an Independent school based in Richmond. Academics are currently partnered with a vibrant and supportive school, dedicated to nurturing the next generation pupils. The role involves teaching students across Year 1 to Year 7 the Science curriculum and ensuring they have a full understanding off the content across the subject.

Contract Type: Full-Time Monday to Friday (8am-4pm), Permanent
Salary: £42,535-£55,145

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Science lessons across Year 1 to Year 7.
  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring inclusive and accessible lessons.
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages scientific inquiry and curiosity.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all learners.
  • Participate in the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student progress.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Science, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
  • Passionate about Science and inspiring students to achieve their best.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player.
  • A commitment to your own professional development and continuous improvement.
