A popular, over-subscribed Secondary School in Southwark are looking for a skilled, versatile and hardworking Psychology Subject Lead to join their school on a full-time basis immediately to both lead the department and teach across years 12 & 13 (KS5)

The Role

This post will require teaching Psychology lessons across KS5, with marking and planning involved. The successful candidates may also be asked to cover lessons, in other subject areas, if the need arises.

The school are looking for a Psychology teacher with the following:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
  • Previous experience teaching Psychology within a secondary school
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to people at all levels
  • A proactive and engaging teaching approach
  • Ability to lead effectively and collaborate with the wider humanities department
  • Good classroom management
