Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality RE lessons that meet the curriculum requirements and challenge students to think critically.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged and supported to explore their beliefs and values.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their potential.
- Contribute to the school's wider pastoral and extra-curricular activities.
- Engage with colleagues, parents, and the school community to promote the value of RE education.
Ideal Candidate:
- Fully qualified RE teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a relevant degree.
- Strong knowledge of the RE curriculum and the ability to deliver creative and engaging lessons.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Passionate about promoting diversity, respect, and understanding within the classroom.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
