Responsibilities:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging RE lessons in line with the national curriculum and school ethos.- Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes inquiry and respect for diverse beliefs.- Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to support student progress and attainment.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance.- Create and maintain a positive, well-ordered classroom environment conducive to learning.- Enforce the school's behavior and safeguarding policies effectively.Requirements:- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).- A degree in Religious Education, Theology, or a related subject.- Proven experience teaching RE at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable but not essential).- A track record of raising student achievement and delivering outstanding teaching.- Excellent communication and organizational skills.- The ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities and backgrounds.- A right to work in the UK is essential!
