Remedy are a reputable recruitment agency focused on placing skilled educators in schools across London. We are currently seeking qualified and dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teachers for full-time, long-term positions.
Job Overview:
We are looking for passionate and skilled RE Teachers to join our vibrant schools in East London. The ideal candidate will hold a PGCE and have achieved Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS). We also welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) and those with equivalent qualifications, such as DTLLS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons to students.
- Teach various aspects of RE, including the study of world religions, ethics, and philosophy.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in RE.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the RE curriculum.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities related to Religious Education and community engagement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
- PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (DTLLS or similar).
- Passion for teaching Religious Education and fostering an understanding of diverse beliefs and values.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- NQTs are welcome and encouraged to apply.
