Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and passionate Religious Education Teacher for this Client, an Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in Waltham Forest. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering a salary on the London MPS/UPS pay scale.
The Role:
- As a Teacher of Religious Education, you will:-Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4-Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment-Encourage students to explore different worldviews, ethical dilemmas, and moral questions-Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback-Participate in departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent- A degree in Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy, or a related field-Experience teaching RE at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)-A passion for engaging students in discussions about faith, ethics, and morality-Strong classroom management and communication skills
