A Good Secondary School based in Barking and Dagenham, is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Science Teacher to join their team from September 2024.

This large mixed comprehensive school located in the borough of Barking and Dagenham, are looking to recruit an engaging Science Teacher to join their team from September 2024. The very successful Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team are committed to delivering a broad and balanced education, one which focuses on not only academic qualifications, but also the value of vocational qualifications with a big focus on extra-curricular activities. They work very hard to provide their students with a learning environment that encourages each and every student to reach their own potential.

SCIENCE TEACHER:

Through Biology, Chemistry and Physics, everyday phenomena that promote, question and intrigue are explored and explained. Science is not just about what is taught; Science as a subject has the ability to shape the way that people think. Outside of lessons they aim to offer students enrichment opportunities through science clubs, trips and events which help to develop students' science and cultural capital.

The department are looking for a Science Teacher to join their team from September. The role will be for the end of the academic year in the first instance.

To be considered for this Science Teacher role you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • PGCE in Science
  • Experience teaching Science to KS3 and KS4
