A Science Teacher is needed in an Independent Coeducational Secondary School & Sixth Form in South East London.

Teaching for this Science Teacher post will be mostly for KS3 to KS4 classes but KS5 classes can be offered depending on the availability of lessons, as well as the specialism of the appointed teacher.

The school are seeking a Science Teacher that can commit to a full time work pattern and long term temp to perm booking.

Standard class teacher responsibilities apply to this Science Teacher role, which include but aren't limited to planning lessons, marking pupils work and attending team meetings.

The rates of pay for this Science Teacher position will range from £180 to £270 a day, depending on every applicants qualifications and experience.

The School

One of the oldest schools in London and winner of the TES Independent School Awards.

It is a mixed school for pupils aged 3 to 18 years old.

Research has indicated that pupils will likely perform better at the school than 86% of other Independent Schools.

Academic standards are high, with the vast majority of pupils going to their first choice for Russell Group institutions, as well as Oxford and Cambridge.

Requirements

You are encouraged to apply if you are an ECT/NQT Science Teacher or experienced Science Teacher.

Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained Science Teacher or overseas trained Science Teacher.
