Day to day of the role:

• Plan and teach engaging Science lessons across Physics, Biology, and Chemistry to secondary or post-16 students.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning and interest in the sciences.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student engagement and academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s science curriculum development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
• Experience in teaching Science, particularly in Physics, Biology, and/or Chemistry.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching science.
• Effective classroom management skills and the ability to foster a supportive learning environment.
• Commitment to professional development and staying current with educational research and pedagogy.
