As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across all three science disciplines, fostering a love for science in students from KS3 to KS4. Science Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Teach all three sciences—Biology, Chemistry, and Physics—using innovative and engaging methods.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Prepare students for GCSE exams, ensuring they meet their target grades.
  • Manage the classroom effectively, maintaining high standards of behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the science department to ensure the curriculum is consistently delivered.
  • Participate in school events, parents' evenings, and staff meetings as required.

Science Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A strong background in teaching Science at secondary school level.
  • The ability to teach any of the three sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) up to GCSE level.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for science and a commitment to student success.
