Responsibilities of a Science Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and innovative science lessons to Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Sixth Form students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Support students in achieving their academic goals and aspirations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practices.
- Uphold high standards of behaviour and academic performance.
Requirements for the Science Teacher Role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in science or a related subject.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students.
- Experience teaching science at secondary level is desirable.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
